Thanks to all who pulled together our 50th (Gwen, Janet, Russ, Lynn, Pete).  It was a great time and I wish I had had more time to meet classmates I haven't seen in all these years.   Anyone passing through Happy Valley (State College) on their travels are more then welcome to stop by our home for a visit and/or pit stop.  Everyone enjoy your later years and be glad that we came from such an influential setting as AHS, stay healthy and look forward to #55!!!!  (Go PSU!!!) Take care, Jim & Sheila Plock

I have been looking forward to this 50th year reunion.  Last month I fell from a ladder and broke my leg.  Healing is slow in old bones, so I will not be able to attend. Please send me a quick email and let me know of all the fun I have missed.  Everyone, have a great time.  I hope to see you all at the 54th. Pam

Hi...Russ, Lynn, Gwen, Linda, Pete, and I have been working diligently to plan our 50th reunion...now, it is almost here!   It will defiinitely be a great time. If you know anyone who has moved, changed names, etc.  please contact me. It has been a daunting task being a super sleuth searching for people.  Our only list to go on was the one supplied by the Abington Alumni Group...and who notifies them when you move...almost no one!  Ted Lesko and others have helped me along the way, but word of mouth is still the best. Ray and I hope to see lots of familiar faces (we haven't changed, have we?) Janet

The reunion was the BEST!!!  Thanks to everyone who was involved in making it happen---a job well done.  I had a wonderful time.  Can't wait till we get together again.

Don't believe I'll be able to make the 50th,however I enjoyed the 40th. Saw some great pics of the 45th including photos of Jef Bacall & others. Brought back many memories. If anyone is living in the SF Bay Area or visiting, I'm good for small hotel & restaurant recommendations & a glass of wine or two. Perhaps an espresso in North Beach? All the best, Josh Cohen Josh@ArtModern.com

I had so much fun.  I am sorry that it took me 30 years to get back to a reunion.  Everyone looked terrific.  I wish there had been more time to see everyone that was there.  Russ, Janet, Pete  and Gwen deserve all the credit in the world for all of their hard work.  Thank goodness for name tags!  Take best of care.  See you in five.

comment by Roger Parkhouse

I was able to track down Mike Moeller in Alabama (he can't make it to the 50th reunion). We talked on the phone for quite a while and caught up on some old memories (first time we've talked in about 40 years!). I am still trying to find Bill Briggs. Let me know if you know of his whereabouts.

comment by Lynda Stainer Martin

Great reunion!  It was wonderful to connect with so many of our classmates and know that we CAN pick up right where we left off 50 years ago.  Even my husband had a good time and he wasn't even in our class.  That shows a successful event.  Kudos to the committee for a job well done.  Looking forward to seeing the reunion spreadsheet with contact numbers. Lynda

Hi Everyone,This will be my first reunion and I'm looking forward to it. I will be flying in from Florida which is where I live now.See you all soon!

comment by Ginni Spencer

Hi Everyone!  We are planning on coming -- just thinking about it brings back so many memories, as always: gym lobby after school; Hot Shoppe; swimming class (ugh -- so hard on the teased hair); Spanish class with Senorita Negra and Bill Bungeroth sending us all into hysterics.  The list goes on and on!  Jeff Piree, please save me a dance.  See you soon!

comment by Pam (Bell) Hagerty

Hello!!  Can’t wait to see you all.  It’s always fun being 17 again, that’s how reunions work.

comment by Jim Isaacs

I am really looking forward to seeing everyone at our 50th Reunion.  Can't believe it is almost upon us.

comment by Ron Cohen

A fantastic job by Russ and the committee.  Thank you.  We had a blast. It was great to see a lot of old friends.

Russ, Gwen, Barb et al---- Thanks for organizing this.  It was fantastic.  BRAVO!!!!!

Hi Everyone.  I probably shouldn't sign this Guest Book since I'm not going to be there tonight.  Instead, Barbi Oughton Baptista and I will be together here in Colorado thinking of all of you having a blast on the dance floor!  I'm picking Barbi up at the Denver Airport in exactly 12 hours from now, which will be five hours before the start of the reunion.  She's visiting the States from Brazil where she has lived for the past 30 years.  We're hoping that perhaps we can make the 50th! Russ, thanks for all you've done to keep our class together. Love,  Debby (and Barbi)

I just found this terrific website and had to let you know what a great job the reunion team has done!  Phyllic Schwartz called me last weekend and is spreading the word about the reunion.  I guess I have been out of the loop and did not know about it...but I will be coming this year.   I have not been to one reunion since we graduated and now is the time!  I am very excited about the event.  I called Valerie Selser and George Gilmour to urge them to make a trip up to Philly and they are considering it!    Hope to see lots of faces from the past and have a great night!Mary

Looking forward to seeing everyone.  Get those name tags ready.  Hard to believe we're eligible for social security.   What's next?  Medicare? Yikes!

comment by Carole Karthauser Myer

I've never been to any of the reunions but Barb DePace tells me it will be a great time.  Looking forward to seeing some of my old friends who I haven't seen since High School.

comment by Beth Rosen Reshefsky

Hi Everyone,  I hope to come for this reunion.  I have not returned since our 10th.

comment by Roger

Are you kidding, they have a font size choice. At our age we should always use the biggest font we can! Mary & I just signed up to attend the reunion and are excited to see "all the gang"...not gangs! If anyone knows how to contact Mike Moeller or Bill Briggs, let me know. We decided to attend after getting a letter from Ted Lesko encouraging us...way to go Ted. See everyone on the 17th ~ Roger & Mary (still in love)

comment by Ginni (Horner) Spencer

Looking forward to this and hope as many people as possible will come.  This is a milestone to share together!

I had so looked forward to our 50th.  I am doing a huge home rennovation and the contractors are weeks behind.  I cannot leave!!  I am so disappointed.  Please post photos and share the gossip.    I live in VA Beach.  Anyone traveling south please come by and say hello.  You'll get to see the house!!

To All My Classmates,I have been very fortunate to attend all the reunions, and Russ has done such a fabulous job.  I am looking forward to seeing everyone after 5 short years.  Seriously, I never thought I would be 45 yrs old, no less 45 years out of high school!  I will be there ready to rock and roll.

comment by Ron Shea

Hi Guys, Sorry I missed the reunion but my wife was graduating from Arizona State University with her doctorate in education.  Maybe next time.  It is good to see some of our classmates checking in.  Too bad more do not make the effort. Keep in touch!  We had a great class and bunch of good people. Regards, Ron

comment by Judy Briner

We (my husband and I) are looking forward to seeing everyone again after five years.  Could this really be our 45th reunion??...it doesn't seem possible!!  Since my husband, Jack, was AHS class of '63, we share the fun of two class reunions.          Our class was fortunate to grow up in a great area and in a great era...we have such pleasant memories  of our high school years.  See you all soon.  Judy

comment by Jim (and Sheila) Plock

Hi Class of 64.  Sorry I've missed a number of our get-togethers but my wife and I will be coming this May to Blue Bell.  Looking forward to seeing my classmates and talking about oldtimes, it should be a lot of fun.  Everyone take care and have a great Holiday Season and a Happy New Year.  A special "hi" to Sherry, Gwen, Lenore, and Janet.  jim

Hi Guys and Gals,   I can not believe that the last entry was mine back in 2009.  Hope everyone is doing well.  We are still living in the desert, Phoenix.  I would not have that anyway else. Retired and having fun.  My wife, Carol, retires in May from teaching 6th grade. Oh no, critical mass at home.  I may have to start working again. :-) I am thinking about trying to make the reunion. Hope to see you all.   Best regards,   Ron

I sure appreciate Russ Koerwer for setting up this website and for doing his best to keep up with it as best he can.  Also, I\'m looking forward to our 50th class reunion in 2014, only two years away.  I\'m hoping to attend. In case any of you would like to read about my husband\'s and my sailing adventures in Fiji, please visit www.swimmingwithglory.com.  I self-published a "class act" book of 290 pages, complete with maps, glossaries and 22 pages of 81 photos.  Hope to see lots of you in 2014!!   Debby

I am looking forward to coming to our 45th class reunion as I have not been to one since our 25th.  Where have all the years gone??  If anyone remembers me I would love to hear from you.

comment by Nancy Fitzwater Moore

This is a perfect example of our life as a book.  We are just adding one more exciting chapter.  I'm sure we all feel the same way, where did the time go?  We are all blessed to be able to spend our 45th together.  Looking forward to seeing everyone.

I think Russ is doing a great job with this web-site and what a great way to keep in touch with friends.I hope I'll hear from some of my old friends at Abington and would like for you to come to the reunion. My home email is bdepace @comcast.netBarb

comment by Russ Koerwer

Hi Everyone:This is the experiment to see how the guest book turns out.  I guess we can all post something here to let everyone know we were here in addition to our profiles.  If we get everyone's email we can really start a chain of communication.  We will try to put a missing persons list on the site in the near future.I hope to spend some time on this but I am still working as my 401K is now a 201K and I have become accustomed to a lavish lifestyle!  Oh, well as long as I can stay healthy I want to keep my mind occupied.  See you all at the reunion!
